Empowering High School athletes in the Durham area by offering comprehensive support including resources, mentorship, and volunteer services enabling them to leverage their athletic talents and passion as a pathway to pursue higher education.
Created from the 2024 ACE in Panama group, the Rising Athletes Foundation aims to give everyone an opportunity to use sports to pursue higher education. This past summer our group had the chance to travel to rural Panama to run after-school volleyball camps for local elementary kids. Despite some of the kids' natural talents and ambitious mindsets, we realized that no matter how much they wanted to pursue sports, they did not have the resources to do so. Our reason is to help provide kids in the Durham area resources, so they don’t face the same reality, and have an opportunity to change their lives through sports.
